The deadline for all Detroit Residential Properties is February 10, 2017. If you sign up and pay on or after FEBRUARY 10, 2017, your appeal WILL NOT be processed.

PPTA charges a fee of $750.00. The Property Owner agrees to pay Professional Property Tax Appeals, Inc. the fee along with the signed retention agreement. A Detroit Tax Appeal is conducted somewhat differently than other appeals (Commercial/Metro Detroit Residential). Due to the amount of appeals PPTA brings to the City of Detroit, PPTA has been offered a unique opportunity by the City of Detroit. Below is a breakdown of the Detroit appeal method.
